Is CitaExpress a government service?
No. CitaExpress is an independent appointment assistant operated by Olleu AB. We work with the official portal; we do not own appointment slots or get priority access. You can always book directly through the public administration for free.
What does it cost?
Self-service booking is free. Assisted searches are also free during early access, with no card required. Any future paid service will show its price and ask you to opt in before charging.
Can you guarantee an appointment or an earlier date?
No. Availability depends on the official portal and other people’s cancellations. We check for openings, but a slot can disappear before it is booked. A booking is only complete when the portal confirms it.
Do I need to stay online?
Background searches continue while you are away. We email you when there is a result or an action to take. The portal may ask you to complete a CAPTCHA or another verification in the secure browser.
Will you cancel my existing appointment?
The public earlier-appointment service sends alerts and does not automatically replace or cancel your appointment. You stay in control of any change. Automatic replacement is being tested privately and is not part of the public service yet.
Can I manage appointments for my family?
Yes. Add separate people and their details to one account, with their permission or as their legal guardian. Each appointment is managed independently; grouped or consecutive family slots are not supported yet.
Can I pause a search?
Yes. Set a deadline, a target date and the notice you need, or pause from your workspace. If a booking has already been submitted, we resolve its outcome before marking the search as paused.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in your iPhone or Android browser. You can also add the app to your home screen. Email is the standard notification channel; reminders and appointment details are available in your account.
